Registration Process

DSA Members in good standing who are elected as Delegates or Alternates will be able to register after their chapter submits their Delegate Election Results and the results are reviewed for membership status. The National Office will send the 2023 Registration Form via email to the chapter’s Delegation Chair.

Early Bird Registration ($230) opened May 13, 2023 and closed June 18, 2023. Regular Registration ($290) opened June 19, 2023 and closed July 13, 2023. Low Income ($110) and Solidarity ($330) fees are available as well. Because this is DSA’s primary means of funding the event, it is highly recommended that chapters fundraise to cover the registration fees for Delegates and Alternates who cannot afford it.

The 2023 Scholarship Form was sent to Delegates and Alternates along with the 2023 Registration Form. Scholarships were limited, and individual awards were based on need and overall availability. Scholarship process opened on May 13, 2023 and closed June 11, 2023.

COVID Protocols

We take the threat of COVID-19 transmission very seriously and are taking the following precautions to minimize the risk of spread at Convention:

  • ALL attendees, speakers, volunteers and staff are required to provide proof of full COVID vaccination.
  • ALL attendees, speakers, volunteers and staff will be required to submit a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the beginning of the Convention. At-home tests are allowed as long as they have a timestamp to prove they’ve been taken within 72 hours of the first day of the event.
  • Masks will be required at the Convention all times, except during meals and only in the meal space. To-go containers will be available for attendees who prefer to eat outside.

A form will be sent out closer to the event for submitting proof of negative COVID test.
